Many of us remember the first moments we became enamored with our spouse. We felt a little more alive, hopeful, and willing to sacrifice on a different level. It is little wonder God chose the marriage relationship as a running theme in Scripture for his relationship with his people. Amidst all life’s hecticness, responsibilities, and demands, we can find ourselves drained, even in our closest and most profound relationship.
