To enhance our capacity to proclaim the gospel through music, the spoken word, and the intentional preaching of God’s Word, we have come to the point where we need to upgrade the audio and visual technologies in the Worship Center. We have had several church members begin this process by giving generously towards this endeavor. We will undergo a three-phase process in the Worship Center to achieve the necessary upgrades.
Phase 1 - Audio
Phase 1 (audio) will begin as soon as possible and will include a complete overhaul of our audio system, which is 12-14 years old depending on the parts being discussed. This upgrade will greatly enhance our ability to generate a clean and confident sound in the worship center, while also providing us the ability to fix the online audio issues we currently have. We anticipate this phase to cost around $300,000.
We received a $100,000 gift specifically given for an audio system. Along with this, God has blessed and provided Northcliffe Church with some additional large gifts and a surplus from last year, as well as some additional funds that we can allocate towards this project.
Phase 2 & 3 - Video
Phases 2 and 3 will begin after the church has raised the necessary funds for each part. Phase 2 will replace our current projectors and screen with LED walls and large TVs on the back walls. We anticipate this phase to cost between $150,000 – $200,000.
Phase 3 will replace all our cameras and video switchers as well as provide an upgraded production room. We anticipate this costing close to $200,000 as well. More details on each phase will be provided as we proceed forward. Both of these phases will require the church to raise the necessary funds as we don’t feel led to take on more debt at this time.
