Illumination Station

Kids are invited to Illumination Station VBS for the brightest week of the year! While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history, a good man, or a wise teacher but He is much more than that.

Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is

June 15-19, 2026, 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Ages 3 years old – 5th grade.
*Nursery for volunteers
Registration opens in May!

At Illumination Station VBS, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus’ important question to His disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” As they explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids will discover that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world.

Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

Frequently Asked Questions

We’re excited to welcome your child to Vacation Bible School at Northcliffe Church! Here are a few important reminders to help you prepare:

Time: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM each day
Doors open at 8:15 AM for daily check-in.

Check-In Location: Family Life Center
You’ll receive your child’s name tag, any necessary allergy wristbands, and important info for the day.

Kindergarten–5th Grade: After check-in, campers will be dropped off at their classroom pew in the Worship Center.

Preschool (Ages 3–5): After check-in, please drop preschool campers off directly at their classroom in the Preschool Building.

All children, including Kindergarten through 5th grade, will be picked up from their classrooms at dismissal.

Please bring your photo ID for pickup each day.

We’re kicking off a fun Boys vs. Girls contest throughout the week! Flyers with more information will be at check-in on Day 1!!

To help create a focused and engaging environment for all kids, VBS is designed as a drop-off program. Our trained, background-checked volunteers will lead each area, and your child will be well cared for! If you’re interested in being part of the experience, we’d love to have you serve as a volunteer.

We’ll primarily communicate through email leading up to and during VBS. Be sure the email you register with is one you check regularly! We may also share important updates through our church’s social media and at drop-off/pick-up as needed.

If needed, especially in an emergency, we will call you directly, so please make sure you keep your phone with you and keep it available during VBS.

Look for our friendly greeters in red shirts, stationed around campus — they’re happy to help with directions or answer any questions you may have.

If your child won’t be attending VBS, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer their spot to another camper.

To help your camper have a safe and meaningful experience:

  • Wear closed-toed shoes each day for safety during games and activities.
  • Bring a labeled water bottle — we want everyone to stay hydrated!
  • Water stations will also be available throughout campus.
  • Pre-apply sunscreen at home if desired, especially for outdoor play.
  • Bring a Bible if your child has one. If they don’t, please let their teacher know during the week — we’d love to help!

Every camper gets a special gift, but for those that would like to purchase a t-shirt for their child to have in addition to, click here.

Join us for our Family Time celebration on Friday, immediately following dismissal.
After picking up your child, head to the Worship Center for a fun and meaningful end to a great week!

We take allergies seriously and want to make sure every child is safe and cared for. When you check in on the first day, you’ll meet with our Snack Leader, Mrs. Jamie Williams, by the kitchen to go over any allergies and discuss snack alternatives for the week.

We don’t want the impact of VBS to stop when the week ends! 💛 After VBS, we’ll follow up with families through email with ways to stay connected, including Sunday programming, upcoming events, and resources to help your child continue growing in their faith at home.

We’d love to see your family back on Sundays as we keep building on what your child learned during VBS. We’re here for you beyond just one week!
