Our Mission

Northcliffe Kids exists to help children to love God personally, live their lives purposefully, and serve others passionately, especially their parents, siblings, and peers. Every Sunday, children ages Nursery – 5th Grade experience age-appropriate, safe environments where the Bible is taught in a relevant way!

VBS 2026 Volunteer Registration

You’re invited to help serve during this year’s VBS, Illumination Station — the brightest week of the year! While many people have heard about Jesus, not everyone truly understands who He is. Throughout the week, kids will discover that Jesus is the Light of the World as they explore how light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals. It’s going to be a powerful, high-energy week filled with truth, fun, and Gospel impact — and we would love for you to shine His light alongside us!

Service Times

9:00 A.M. Small Groups (Nursery – 5th Grade)

10:30 A.M. Small Groups (Nursery – Kindergarten) | Kids Worship (1st – 5th Grades)

First time at Northcliffe Kids?

On your first Sunday, meet a friendly volunteer in the Preschool Center (C Building) or Elementary Center (G Building) to get checked in. This will take a few minutes, so you can come a bit earlier to get them all settled. You can check in children for both age groups at either check-in location.

Each Sunday you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and visit. Your child’s tag is to be worn on his or her back. The tag has a code that matches the code on the parent’s tag — this ensures that the right child goes to the right parent at the end of the service.

After getting registered, we’ll walk with you to drop off your child and introduce you to the volunteer in his/her room! ALL Kids Volunteers are background checked and trained to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for your child! After the service, please return to your child’s classroom and present your parent tag to the teacher. The teacher will match your tag and your child’s tag and release them to you. If you lose your tag, simply head to the front desk in the Preschool Center to receive another one.

If for any reason we need you during the service, your pager number will be displayed in the Worship Center on the black screen to the left of the projection screens. We ask that you please exit the Worship Center and return to your child’s classroom.

Awana

Wednesdays 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Awana is a children’s program that helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Awana offers a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community. Awana is offered for ages 2 years old – 5th Grade.

Our club offers four different age groups:

Puggles: 2 to 3 ½
Cubbies: Preschool (3 ½ by Sep 1)
Sparks: Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
Truth & Training: 3rd Grade – 5th Grade

The night consists of three different sections:

1. Handbook Time
Your child will work through his or her handbook with a small group of children and a leader.

2. Large Group Time
Your child’s club will come together to hear a lesson from a teacher.

3. Game Time
Your child’s club will enjoy some active games with our volunteer coaches!
